Chinquapin animal hospital is awesome. They care about your pet and your needs. I take my Rotti mix Gordo to them and he just loves everyone there.
Dr. Paula Watkins treated our Italian greyhound, Luci, for kidney disease. She and her staff did everything for our little girl. Luci lost her battle
April 20, 2018. She gave us more time with her that we would not have had otherwise. While our hearts are broken, we know that Luci is in heaven now. When we looked into her eyes we could surely see God and his love. Luci was a rescue, but we think we were the ones rescued with
her love and affection. She was a large part of our family. Dr. Paula, as we call her, truly has a gift that is unique and maternal. Thank you all for your professional help, but also your love and caring for our little Luci.
Yesterday was my first visit and we saw Dr Watkins. From the moment we were greeted in the reception area, saw the techs, the vet then our checkout it was a wonderful experience. They were loving to our old blind dog! We have been battling an ear infection off and on since we moved to Ninety Six almost five years. Another vet was treating it but never getting to the root of the problem. Right away I could tell things were going to be different here. When I mentioned what ear drops she had been on but wasn't keeping it cleared I was told , we don't use those drops here because we haven't been happy with the results from them. So we were prescribed a pill and another ear drop. Surprisingly I can already tell a difference in the redness in her ears. What a welcome change! I am so happy we changed to Dr. Watkins. Thank you for the great care!!!! We love our dog and it was nice to be treated by the staff in such a loving matter also.
I have (had) 2 older pups and Dr Cochran and the staff have provided excellent care for them both. Lola is allergic to many things and through allergy testing and helping me find a food that will work with her allergies she is a new dog. I am so thankful for the CADI injection that she gets when needed for breakthrough itching. It has really made a difference in her quality of life. I also want to praise the whole office for the love and compassion they gave my little Hersheyman, myself and my husband when we had to have him put to sleep because of CHF. I entered their office with a broken heart and left with a broken heart but the compassion and love I felt for myself and my little man was beyond my expectations. They kept his body until my husband got there to pick him up and they were just so personal and professional all at the same time. I can't imagine having anyone else take care of my 4 legged babies!! Thanks guys and I recommend your office to everyone!
